Herwin combines IP litigation (mostly in trademark, design and copyright matters before national courts, BOIP, EUIPO and European courts) with advisory and transactional work. He represents a range of clients in various sectors, including FMCG, fashion and luxury goods, internet, media and entertainment, renewable energy and charity.

Herwin is a member of the International Trademarks Association (INTA), MARQUES, and the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law (BMM).
Herwin has registered the following principal legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): Intellectual Property (Intellectueel Eigendomsrecht). Based on this registration, Herwin is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
