Silvie Wertwijn has been a lawyer since 2000 and works across all aspects of intellectual property and pharmaceutical regulatory law. Silvie has her own law firm Double You Legal based in Amsterdam and has been with Vondst on an interim basis since June 2026. Silvie was previously a partner at Vondst, from 2009 to 2014, and before that worked as an intellectual property lawyer at Nauta Dutilh and Steinhauer Hoogenraad. At Vondst, Silvie focuses primarily on advising and litigating in the fields of trademark and copyright law, (pharmaceutical) patent law and life sciences regulatory law.
Silvie Wertwijn has registered the practice area of Intellectual Property in the practice areas register (rechtsgebiedenregister) of the Netherlands Bar (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten). On the basis of this registration, she is required to obtain ten continuing-education points in this practice area each calendar year, in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
